The MONTANUS 2D Camouflage Pattern, a brief overview introducing this new Mountain camouflage

A concise introduction about the ProApto's Transitio Montanus 2D camouflage design developed for mountain enviroments

Introduction

The Montanus pattern was designed for mountain environments. It is a specific pattern for mountain walls, ridges and woods. The pattern show multiple grey shades contrasted with green mossy\leafy tones and obviously black. Both the colour scheme and the texture are protected in Italy by SIAE and are covered by ProApto's international patent of Multispectral Camouflage.

Here below is a comprehensive unedited photo gallery of MONTANUS pattern displayed in multiple environments and seasons at different light conditions:

The Pattern Nemus (Transitio Nemus) is part of the Transitio family, consisting of 7 camouflage designs. The Transitio family, in comparison with our Exitium family (consisting of 11 designs), features a more marked macro camouflage while exhibiting a reasonably detailed micro pattern. The name comes from ancient Roman Latin nĕmus, nemŏris - meaning woods/grove, and the noun transĭtĭo, transitionis, meaning transition, crossing. The name was chosen since the pattern is designed to be used across multiple kind of woods in several biomes.

We employ the Montanus Pattern in our Multispectral Thermal Camouflage and for VIS camouflage products like the Velator overlayer.
