ProApto RECONDOR  is a VIS-NIR-TIR multispectral and multipurpose anti-drone counter-thermal cloak, designed to offer camouflage in static and dynamic use. Its primary feature is the ability to rapidly emulate the ambient temperature while dynamically adapting to temperature variations. This capability significantly enhances camouflage effectiveness, allowing the user to consistently blend into the surroundings.

As with all ProApto multispectral (anti-thermal) camouflage systems, RECONDOR is breathable and does not insulate the user, in accordance with ProApto’s proprietary patent. It is silent in movement and suitable for amphibious operations. The cloak does not release harmful chemicals or nanoparticles and can be washed without degrading its multispectral performance. On average, it weighs between 900g and 1.6kg (with the addition of double sided 3D camo). RECONDOR is available in several variations, including a waterproof version. It can be packed into a compact 15x15x30cm bag.

Recondor also features 130 anchor points for 3D element and it can be produced in any camouflage patterns including the 18 ProApto's 2D camouflage desings and further enhanced with the 12 ProApto's 3D camouflage patterns. Recondor is double sided, reversible camo, so its value is doubled to maximise versatility across multiple environments.

The system is designed to be worn over a soldier’s gear, making thermal camouflage most effective when used with full equipment. The poncho can also be implemented with limb covers and boot covers (see RECONDOR full-body). Since its modularity, multiple RECONDOR units can be connected to conceal observation posts or small vehicles.
