ProApto's Thermal Mitigation Boonie Hat is designed to improve airflow and create stand-off distance between you head and your thermal camouflage garment. The non-insulating design offers an additional level of concealment, putting it several steps ahead of conventional boonies. 
 
Whether it is used with ProApto Multispectral Camouflage systems or with products from other manufacturers, this boonie will help you reduce your head's signature. On average, the boonie will reduce head temperature by approximately 3.6°C to 6.6°C while simultaneously keeping you cooler. It is not intended to be used as a standalone thermal concealment solution, but in sinergy with thermal camouflage systems.
 
The outer layer is made from flame-resistant (FR) polyester, while the inner layer consists of premium Italian Merino wool.
 
The ProApto Boonie Hat also features 10 anchor points on the parietal side and an additional 12 anchor points around the crown, allowing users to attach natural vegetation or camouflage materials to further enhance concealment.
